How do you find in home day care?

I am in a Nuc Med program and will be starting clinicals in the summer. I would like to find someone to watch my kids in my house during the summer, and hopefully could put them on the bus in the fall and spring. I have never had to put my kids in daycare, and I have no clue what to do. Any suggestions?

The state to choose child care their services are free but they can only give you find information on how to choose child.
